The Block Parent signs and decals listed below are available for purchase only to the administrative committee of a registered Community Block Parent Program.
The Block Parent community road signs should be placed at every major road entrance into the community. The presence of these signs indicates to residents and visitors that the community is protected by a safety network of Block Parent volunteers.
The Block Parent sign in the window of a home tells children, seniors and others that help is available if they are lost, frightened or in distress.
A small reflective mailbox decal depicting the Block Parent logo is placed on each side of the mailbox for homes which are well set back from the road or where the house is not clearly visible from the road. The decal indicates that this is a Block Parent home but does not mean help is available unless the window sign is displayed as well.
All participating Business Block Parent locations display a red and white decal, permanently affixed to their store door or window to be clearly seen by pedestrians.
